We try to offer our software updates with feature updates and other improvements – as far as technically possible – for all our devices.
Over time, however, our devices have changed – mostly in terms of manufacturing aspects. The main features are common to all devices.

For software updates, however, it is important to use the correct versions to match your hardware. Here are a few tips on how to recognize which hardware version you have. The newer software versions also show this in the file name or in the SleepDisplay.
So please check exactly which version is the right one before updating. If in doubt, please send us an email stating the serial number: support @ airlog-one.com

Sometimes we also provide beta updates here, which are then marked accordingly. Mostly it’s about trying out new features.
Your comments and observations are of course particularly welcome here.
But you are also invited to report any other strange displays or malfunctions. We are constantly working on the software and are endeavoring to reduce the number of errors to a minimum 😉

device identification

We have different hardware versions, mostly with subtle changes, but not all are compatible. If you are not sure what you have, please contact us, and we will help identify your hardware.
To identify your hardware version, check the sleep screen: The lower line displays the installed SW version, starting with ‘A‘ for airlogOne and ‘B‘ for airlogOne-mini. The next two numbers indicate the HW version, which should correspond with the downloaded update software.

update procedure

  • check your device and download the correct update version

  • unzip the file (after unzip, should be named “AxxVxxx.bin”)

  • put the airlogOne into sleep mode

  • remove the uSD card from the device

  • insert it into a computer

  • write the attached file to the SD card and rename it: exactly like your serial number, e.g., A123-xxxxxx.bin

  • re-insert the SD card into the airlogOne

  • turn the device back on – the update will run, and the device will restart with the new software
