Major release Software Version V3.11

This software brings several bug fixes, management improvements and a new e-paper display code that dramatically reduces refresh cycles.

The display update rate is doubled from ca 800ms to 400ms (ca 2 updates/s) and the refresh cycle is fixed at 1 every minute and is suppressed at altitudes >100meters (ca 300ft).

change list

  • FLS config bug fixed
  • Remote Target feature bugs have been fixed. Decimals can be entered, updates work in both directions.
  • JumpNr reset via airlog.app software: set jumpNr in dasboard app to “-1” and sync with the airlogOne resets the jump counter to zero.
Then set the JumpNr in the dashboard to the desired value and sync again. Caution: this can result in overwriting logbook entries, so be careful!
  • the “sunlight refresh” setting is now ignored. A fixed value of “once a second” on ground and no refresh once in the air is set.
  • a DEMO mode ist added: the last entry in the screen modes (via “M” button) is DEMO: it counts the displayed altitude up to 4200m (or equivalent) and counts down to zero. No jumps are counted. Can be ended by pressing “M” and set another screen mode.
  • V3.1: for the HW3.5 devices the altitude filtering is improved. Removes high-frequency noise but follows the altitude changes fast and stable.
  • In the top/left corner blinks a dot at each screen update – as a live sign
  • HW-Version and installed SW-Version is stored in the firebase database. This enables future automatic checks for available updates and a notice in the device configuration window in airlog.app.
