Made for CF/CRW
airlogOne and airlogOne-mini are cutting-edge skydiving alti/trackers. Leveraging the GNSS satellite navigation system (GPS and others), these devices provide crucial additional information beyond altitude. airlogOne devices are particularly beneficial for CRW jumps:
1) Direction Arrow with Distance to Drop Zone: In CRW, the exit point is often far away from the landing zone. Using the current GPS position and the stored target position (Drop Zone), airlogOne accurately displays direction and distance at any time. With the current ground speed shown, wind influence can be estimated, allowing timely course corrections.
2) Wind Data Integration: Wind significantly impacts exit and landing points. If connected to the internet pre-jump, airlogOne can load layered wind data for the current time and location. This wind information, including direction and strength, is attached to the recorded track and displayed in the jump analysis alongside your track, enabling understanding of formation movement relative to the wind.
3) Setting Markers: Markers can be set in the recorded track with a tap, appearing as clear red crosses in the track display. This can become essential when a canopy is cut-off and a jumper follows the freebag. The marker can be set directly above the landing point, and exact coordinates can be relayed to search and rescue teams. Practical technology at work.
Additionally, airlogOne is an outstanding altimeter with the best readable display (e-paper) on the market! See our website to learn about the other features and the great post-jump analysis software airlog.app that comes with your device.
